Bonjour!

So, the awkward first post. I’m not going to sit here and introduce myself – that’s what the about me section is for. Neither am I going to list some fun facts about myself, I’m sure you’ll find all of that good stuff later on down the line. What I will do, however, is welcome you to my little section of the blogosphere, which I’ll mostly use to document my single white female travels to aide my increasingly evident early dementia, but hopefully you can pick up a few little travel tips too.

I’m toying with the idea of a rating system and quick travel tip section for each place I travel to – things like how safe it is for solo female travellers, and any good restaurants/bars/attractions I find, but chances are I’ll forget to do this. Let’s start on the right foot though! Each entry should have the following at the very least:

• Safety out of five – one being ‘take pepper spray at the very least’ and five being ‘safe as houses’.
• Cost of living out of five £s
• Any recommendations for the city I go to.

Lastly, I fully intend on the majority of these being trips to European countries – the beauty of my job is that I get to go to random European countries every so often – but occasionally I’ll embark on a trip further afield. Nearly all of my trips are for business but I do try and plan cheap Air BnB jaunts where possible. Hope this is useful, interesting, or at the very least entertaining…
